The Loctite 609 Retaining Compound – Medium/High Strength is a high strength retaining compound supplied in a 0.5ml capsule.

Retaining compounds bond cylindrical parts – bearings on shafts – bushes in housings – keyed and slip-fit assemblies. The cured film fills the gap between the two surfaces so the load is carried over the whole joint rather than on high spots.
