The KCM 100-2COT-CL is an ASA duplex cottered precision connecting link with 1-1/4″ (31.75mm) pitch – 19.05mm roller diameter and 19.05mm width between inner plates. Pin diameter 9.54mm – plate thickness 4mm – plate height 28.9mm.
A connecting link joins the two ends of a chain to close the loop. The link plate and pin dimensions match the parent chain exactly – so the joint carries the same load and runs on the same sprocket without interference.
This is the cottered version. Cotter pins let the joint be taken apart and re-made in the field – the usual choice on large slow-speed drives and on chain that is dismantled for maintenance.
Please note: this connecting link is sold each. It suits KCM 100-2 chain and any other ASA chain of the same size.
