The 6216ZZ 270C is a high temperature deep groove ball bearing from the ENC range built by BRL Bearings in Spain. With a bore diameter of 80 mm, outer diameter of 140 mm, and a width of 26 mm, this bearing conforms to ISO dimension standards and is a direct interchange for equivalent series bearings from other manufacturers.

Design & Construction

Manufactured by BRL Bearings – a Spanish specialist in high temperature rotation. AISI 52100 bearing steel rings and balls are given a manganese phosphate surface treatment for scuffing and corrosion resistance in furnace air. Radial internal clearance is increased above standard so the bearing still turns freely once the rings have expanded at working temperature. Steel ZZ shields on both sides hold the grease in place and keep coarse debris out while still venting at temperature.

Performance

Rated for a basic static load capacity of 30.3 kN, this bearing delivers dependable load-carrying ability and long calculated service life under correct operating conditions. Permissible speed reaches 365 rpm with grease lubrication. Packed with Kluber Barrierta LT 55/2 grease rated from -30 deg C up to 270 deg C. This is the higher speed of the two 270 deg C ranges – the ZZ OPEN version runs at normal speed.
