The AC-261-008-11 is a 0.8mm Metric Lever Type Dial Test Indicator.

A pivoting stylus rather than a plunger lets these lever type instruments reach into bores, along edges and under overhangs where a plunger gauge will not sit. Fitters rely on them for centring work in a four jaw chuck, aligning a vice jaw and checking parallelism over short travel.
