Finer PT 12B3-23T/L Taper Lock Sprocket – 12B-3 Triplex – 3/4″ Pitch – 23 Teeth – 2517 Bush

The Finer PT 12B3-23T/L is a 23 tooth taper lock sprocket for 12B-3 triplex British Standard roller chain – 3/4″ (19.05mm) pitch. It has a 139.9mm pitch circle diameter (PCD) and a 148.1mm outside diameter. It is bored to take a 2517 taper lock bush.

Taper lock sprockets locate on the shaft through a separate tapered bush. The bush carries the shaft bore and keyway – so one sprocket suits a range of shaft sizes – pulls up concentric as the screws are tightened and comes off cleanly for maintenance. All Finer sprockets are engineered in accordance with ISO 9000 standards.

BS / ASA interchange (3/4″ pitch – BS 12B-1 and ASA 60-1): BS sprockets will wrap ASA chain (not recommended for frequent forward/reverse indexing) but ASA sprockets will not wrap BS chain unless the teeth are skimmed – the plate thickness differs.

Please note: this sprocket is bored to take a 2517 taper lock bush – the bush is not included. When requesting a quote – include your shaft size so the matching bush can be supplied.
