Finer PT 24B1-38T/L Taper Lock Sprocket – 24B-1 Simplex – 1-1/2″ Pitch – 38 Teeth – 4040 Bush

The Finer PT 24B1-38T/L is a 38 tooth taper lock sprocket for 24B-1 simplex British Standard roller chain – 1-1/2″ (38.1mm) pitch. It has a 461.39mm pitch circle diameter (PCD) and a 476.2mm outside diameter. It is bored to take a 4040 taper lock bush.

Taper lock sprockets locate on the shaft through a separate tapered bush. The bush carries the shaft bore and keyway – so one sprocket suits a range of shaft sizes – pulls up concentric as the screws are tightened and comes off cleanly for maintenance. All Finer sprockets are engineered in accordance with ISO 9000 standards.

• Construction type: Type 2 as drawn on the spec sheet
• Chain: 1-1/2″ (38.1 mm) pitch – 25.4 mm inside width – 25.4 mm roller diameter

BS / ASA interchange (1-1/2″ pitch – BS 24B-1 and ASA 120-1): BS sprockets will wrap ASA chain (not recommended for frequent forward/reverse indexing) but ASA sprockets may need to have the teeth skimmed to wrap BS chain – the plate thickness differs.

Please note: this sprocket is bored to take a 4040 taper lock bush – the bush is not included. When requesting a quote – include your shaft size so the matching bush can be supplied.
