The GAK35 is a Zinc Plated Fender (Penny) Washers.
Spreading clamping load over a wider area stops a nut pulling through soft material or marking a finished face. Flat washers do the spreading, heavy duty patterns suit structural work, oversize penny types bridge clearance holes in thin sheet, and split lock washers bite in to resist loosening.
