The IKO TAM815 is a drawn cup (shell type) needle roller bearing with a closed end, for a 8mm shaft (metric series). Its thin-walled, deep-drawn outer shell forms the outer raceway, giving the lowest sectional height of any needle bearing while carrying high radial loads in a compact, economical package. Boundary dimensions 8 x 15 x 15mm.

The closed-end type is completely closed on one side, sealing and protecting the end of the shaft. The bearing is press-fitted into the housing bore, so no axial location fixtures are needed; maximum operating temperature approximately 140C. Manufactured by IKO (Nippon Thompson), Japan.
