The KCM 140-2 is an ASA duplex precision roller chain with 1-3/4″ (44.45mm) pitch – 25.4mm roller diameter and 25.4mm width between inner plates. Pin diameter 12.31mm – plate thickness 5.6mm – plate height 40.7mm.
Minimum tensile strength 340 kN to ANSI B29.1 – average rated tensile strength 421.7 kN – maximum allowable load 68.31 kN – approximate weight 14.24 kg/m – transverse pitch 48.9mm.
Precision roller chain transmits power between sprockets by positive engagement – giving a constant drive ratio with no slip. Solid bushes and rollers spread the load across the full bearing area – and heat-treated pins hold their surface hardness so the chain resists elongation over a long service life.
Please note: this chain is supplied as a complete 10FT box and is not cut to length. The price is worked out per foot – but the full box is the unit of sale and cannot be split. Connecting links and offset/half links are ordered separately.
