The KCM 160-3 is an ASA triplex precision roller chain with 2″ (50.8mm) pitch – 28.58mm roller diameter and 31.75mm width between inner plates. Pin diameter 14.29mm – plate thickness 6.4mm – plate height 46.7mm.
Minimum tensile strength 680.4 kN to ANSI B29.1 – approximate weight 30.02 kg/m – transverse pitch 58.55mm.
Precision roller chain transmits power between sprockets by positive engagement – giving a constant drive ratio with no slip. Solid bushes and rollers spread the load across the full bearing area – and heat-treated pins hold their surface hardness so the chain resists elongation over a long service life.
Please note: this chain is supplied as a complete 10FT box and is not cut to length. The price is worked out per foot – but the full box is the unit of sale and cannot be split. Connecting links and offset/half links are ordered separately.
