The KOYO 6824ZZC3 is a single-row deep groove ball bearing with double metal shields (ZZ) – measuring 120mm bore x 150mm outside diameter x 16mm width.
Load ratings: dynamic 36.2 kN (Cr) and static 33.0 kN (C0r) – fatigue load limit 1.45 kN. Limiting speed 4000 rpm with grease lubrication and 4700 rpm with oil lubrication. Minimum fillet radius 1mm.
Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used bearing type – carrying radial and axial loads in both directions with low friction and high running accuracy. The metal shields retain the factory-filled grease and keep out dust and debris while allowing higher speeds than a contact seal.
C3 internal clearance: this bearing is supplied with greater than normal (CN) internal radial clearance. C3 suits applications with an interference fit on the shaft or in the housing – a temperature differential between the inner and outer rings – or shaft expansion under load – where the extra clearance prevents the bearing from becoming preloaded in service.
Manufactured by KOYO (JTEKT) in chrome steel to ISO standards.
