The KOYO B-348 is a drawn cup (shell type) needle roller bearing with open ends, for a 53.975mm shaft (imperial series). Its thin-walled, deep-drawn outer shell forms the outer raceway, giving the lowest sectional height of any needle bearing while carrying high radial loads in a compact, economical package. Boundary dimensions 53.975 x 63.500 x 12.70mm.
The open-end (standard) type has a narrow flange gap that helps retain grease and exclude contamination. The bearing is press-fitted into the housing bore, so no axial location fixtures are needed; maximum operating temperature approximately 140C. Use with a hardened shaft or the IR-3024 inner ring as the inner raceway. Manufactured by Koyo (JTEKT), Japan.
