Morey’s Molybentone Grease is a specialty grease (1% moly) – NLGI EP2 on a Clay thickener – supplied in a 180kg drum.
MOREY’S MOLYBENTONE GREASE 2 is a high temperature grease made with a non-soap bentonite thickener, molybdenum disulphide and a heavy paraffinic base oil. It is extremely resistant to softening at high temperatures, and has a high load carrying capacity and resistance to “water wash-out”. It also has good pumpability characteristics when used in centralised lubricating systems
Operating range -20C to 250C – dropping point None. Buttery in appearance – water resistant – grey in colour. Food approval: non-contact areas.
Typical uses
- Recommended for lubrication of kiln car wheel bearings, furnace door hinges, heat exchange motor bearings, oven conveyor chains and other high temperature applications.
Please note: molybentone grease is not compatible with other greases. former.
