The NBR HE2308 is a tapered adaptor sleeve for mounting a taper-bore bearing onto a 1 1/4″ plain (unstepped) shaft. Sleeve bore 1 1/4, outside diameter 58mm, width 46mm.
The sleeve is driven up the shaft into the bearing’s tapered bore and secured with a matched lock nut (KM08) and tab washer (MB08), clamping the bearing without needing a shoulder or machined seat. This makes it a simple, economical way to locate self-aligning ball and spherical roller bearings.
