The NBR HE317 is a tapered adaptor sleeve for mounting a taper-bore bearing onto a 76.2″ plain (unstepped) shaft. Sleeve bore 76.2, outside diameter 110mm, width 63mm.
The sleeve is driven up the shaft into the bearing’s tapered bore and secured with a matched lock nut (KM17) and tab washer (MB17), clamping the bearing without needing a shoulder or machined seat. This makes it a simple, economical way to locate self-aligning ball and spherical roller bearings.
