The 550X610X28 HDSA1 RD is a rotary shaft oil seal with a 550mm bore (shaft), 610mm outside diameter (housing) and 28mm width, seal type HDSA1, with a Nitrile (NBR) sealing lip.

Rotary shaft (oil) seals retain lubricant in the housing and exclude dirt, dust and moisture, with a spring-loaded flexible lip running against the shaft to maintain a positive seal as the lip wears. They are fitted into the housing bore with the lip facing the fluid being retained.
