The SS609-2RS FG is a stainless steel miniature ball bearing from the ENC range built by BRL Bearings in Spain. With a bore diameter of 9 mm, outer diameter of 24 mm, and a width of 7 mm, this bearing conforms to ISO dimension standards and is a direct interchange for equivalent series bearings from other manufacturers.

Design & Construction

Manufactured by BRL Bearings – a Spanish specialist in high temperature rotation. Stainless steel rings and balls resist corrosion in damp and washdown conditions where a chrome steel bearing would rust. Standard radial internal clearance is fitted and the bearing is supplied lubricated and ready to run. Rubber 2RS seals on both sides keep water and washdown chemicals out of the raceways.

Performance

Rated for a basic dynamic load capacity of 3.35 kN and a static load capacity of 1.4 kN, this bearing delivers dependable load-carrying ability and long calculated service life under correct operating conditions. Permissible speed reaches 22000 rpm with grease lubrication. Miniature sizes from 3mm to 9mm bore run at very high speeds – up to 45000 rpm on the smallest.
