The 16IRAG55 is a TiAlN Micro – Grain Carbide Right Handed Threading Inserts – 0.5-3.0mm.
Indexable turning tools clamp a replaceable carbide insert in a steel shank, so a worn edge is rotated or swapped rather than reground. Holders come in left and right hand for facing and turning in either direction, with boring bars for internal work and inserts shaped for roughing, finishing and thread forms.
Made of micro-grain carbide with TiAlN coating
Suited to cast iron, general purpose steel and stainless steel
