Finer PT 40A-15 Plate Wheel – ASA 40-1 Simplex – 1/2″ Pitch – 15 Teeth

The Finer PT 40A-15 is a 15 tooth plate wheel for ASA 40-1 simplex roller chain – 1/2″ (12.7mm) pitch. It has a 61.09mm pitch circle diameter (PCD) and a 67.2mm outside diameter. It comes with a 10mm pilot bore.

A plate wheel is a flat sprocket plate without a hub. It is supplied with a pilot bore and is commonly bored out to suit the shaft or welded to a hub for a custom drive. All Finer sprockets are engineered in accordance with ISO 9000 standards.

• Tooth width (B1): 7.2 mm
• Tooth radius (r3): 13.5 mm
• Radius width (C): 1.6 mm
• Chain: 1/2″ (12.7 mm) pitch – 7.92 mm inside width – 7.92 mm roller diameter

BS / ASA interchange (1/2″ pitch – BS 08B-1 and ASA 40-1): BS sprockets will wrap ASA chain but ASA sprockets will not wrap BS chain – the roller diameters differ.

Please note: this plate wheel is supplied with a 10mm pilot bore – it is not finish bored.
